Captain Eric Wheeler Bush D.S.O.**, D.S.C. (British)

Eric Bush served in H.M.S. Revenge in the Grand Fleet between 1916 and 1918. He was present at Jutland and the surrender of the High Seas Fleet. He continued to serve in the Royal Navy between the wars, ending up as Head of the Japanese Section of the Naval Intelligence Division at the Admiralty. When WW2 broke out Bush was in command of the Dover Auxiliary Patrol. He had various commands throughout the war and ended his career in command of the training establishment H.M.S. Ganges.
