R.K. Lochner (German)

Lochner was born in 1927 in Reichenberg, Bohemia. He joined the German Navy as an officer candidate in late 1944 and in the last months of the war was captured by the Americans in Austria. After the war he took degrees in languages and history. He wrote a number of books about the role of the German Navy in both wars.
