Brigadier-General F.J. Moberly CB, CSI, DSO, psc (British)

Moberly had a distinguished career in the Indian Army. He was Director of Military Operations India, and Deputy Chief of The General Staff India and on his retirement in 1920 he joined the staff of the Historical Section of the Committee of Imperial Defence. He compiled the four volume Official History of the Campaign in Mesopotamia and also the volume on operations in Togoland and The Cameroons.
