J.M. Craster (British)

Craster was educated at Wellington College, the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and Balliol College Oxford, where he read Modern History. He was commissioned with the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders and transferred to the Grenadier Guards. He was a Major and at the time of writing the book about the Grenadiers in 1914 he was at the Staff College Camberley.
