David Ramsay (British)

Ramsay was the son of Admiral Sir Bertram Ramsay, of WW2 fame. He was born in Edinburgh. After military service he read history and economics at Trinity College, Cambridge. He worked for many years for John Menzies in Edinburgh, and then later in financial services. He moved to Indian Wells in California in 1990 and had a second career as an author. He was particularly interested as an historian in both world wars, and in particular the career of Churchill.
