Cecil Aspinall-Oglander
Aspinall-Oglander was the Chief of Staff to the Naval C in C at The Dardanelles in 1915. We do not know if this was the same Aspinall-Oglander who is credited with the Official Histories of the Gallipoli Campaign. In the actual Official History, he is quoted as being a Brigadier-General, so that rather conflicts with the narrative above. But this is a very unusual name, and the christian name begins with the same letter, so we are confused.
