John Hutton

Hutton was the Member of Parliament for Barrow and Furness, and was Secretary of State for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform. He was inspired to write the book about the Kings Own Royal Lancasters by the men he met in his constituency who served in the Great War. He was later made a life peer.
