A.M. Burrage (Private X)

Alfred Burrage was educated at Douai School. He earned his living writing short stories. After his war in the Artists Rifles, he enjoyed considerable success as a literary figure, until fashions changed and short stories were killed off by the Second World War. He died in 1956.
