E.M. Halliday

Halliday lived in North Carolina. He had taught previously at Michigan University and also the University of Chicago. Latterly he taught Social Studies at North Carolina State College. He first became interested in the North Russia Campaign during World War 2, when as a correspondent he interviewed a colonel who had been a member of the expedition.
