Anne Nason
Nason worked for the Foreign Office Co-ordination Staff prior to her marriage to an Army officer. She then travelled the world, "following the drum". Her interest in ornitholgy led to her publishing a book in 1991 for the Nigerian Conservation Foundation about birds of Nigeria. She was the grand-daughter of Lt-Col. Hermon, whose letters she edited (see "For Love and Courage: The Letters of Lieutenant-Colonel E.W. Hermon From the Western Front 1914 - 1917").
