Michael Korda
Korda was born in London in 1933 but lived in the U.S.A. from 1958. He was educated in Switzerland, did military service with the R.A.F., then he went to Magdalen College, Oxford. He took part in the 1956 Hungarian Uprising. He joined Simon & Schuster in New York and became Managing Editor, Executive Editor and Editor in Chief.
