Joachim Remak

Remak, who was a U.S. citizen, took a B.A. degree at Berkeley, then a Ph.D. at Stanford University. From 1947 to 1957 he was an historian at the U.S. State Department, where he helped edit the archives of the German Foreign Ministry.
