Colonel D.F. Grant

Grant was born in 1891. He qualified in Banking in the years leading up to the outbreak of war. In 1914 he joined the Special Reserve of Officers, Royal Horse and Royal Field Artillery, and served in France from 1914 to 1918. In World War 2 he served in the U.K., France and Belgium on the Reserve Officers R.A., and was promoted to Colonel. He was a member of the Honourable Artillery Company. He died in 1969.
