Dr. Peter Hodgkinson
Hodgkinson started his academic career with a BA in Psychology from Durham University and then an M Phil in Clinical Psychology from the University of London. He then became a Clinical Psychologist in both the NHS and Private spheres of work. His work here was mainly with trauma and sudden, violent death. He had authored many psychological articles and had written a book about "Coping With Catastrophe" before writing his book on "Glum Heroes". At some stage in his career, it is not entirely clear, he obtained an MA in British First World War Studies and then a PhD in the Department of War Studies at the University of Birmingham.RCC7490 "Glum Heroes".
