Professor Eugene P. Ryan
Ryan was the grandson of "Micky" Ryan. He was born in Cork in 1948. Following doctoral studies at the University of Cambridge and post-doctoral research at the University of Warwick, he joined the University of Bath in 1978 where he was Professor of Mathematics.
