Bernard Jenkin

Jenkin began his sea-going career as an officer cadet on merchant ships, towards the end of World War Two. He went on to command ships trading on a world wide basis. After 40 years at sea, he retired to South Wales. He then pursued his second career as a writer. Most of his books are about marine matters.
