Colonel R.H. Beadon CBE, psc, late RASC
Beadon had been the British Representative on the Board of Allies constituted to provide services to the Allies as a whole, following the appointment of Petain as Supreme Commander. Beadon came to that position from the Supreme War Council, as opposed to British GHQ. As a Lieutenant-Colonel at the time, he was very much the junior member in rank on the Board, if perhaps not in experience and influence.
