Bruce Cherry
Cherry's interest in the Great War was inspired by the War Memorial in Cowbridge, South Wales, which he used to stand beside when waiting for his school bus. He graduated in 1974 with a degree in Modern History and Politics. After graduation, a visit to Serbia and research into his family's history from the Great War started his journey through the landscape of the war. He had a career as an international strategic business consultant, then he lectured on marketing in various universities and he ran various tourism businesses. He had led Battlefields Tours; his special interest was the social aspects of soldiering in the Great War.
