Andre Bourachot
Bourachot was a leading expert on the history of the French Army. He entered St. Cyr in 1958 and then specialized in engineering. During his long career in the Army - ending up as a General - he served on various roles. He left the Army in 1998 as Engineer-in-Chief.
He was a former student of the Centre for Advanced Military Studies and of the Institute for Advanced National Defence Studies in Paris, and he had an engineering degree from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chausees.
