Brian J. Turpin
Turpin trained as an engineer on aircraft and served with the V Bomber Force of RAF Bomber Command for 5 years. He later learned to fly and then he gained his commercial pilot's licence on leaving the RAF, going on to fly professionally for nearly 40 years. He was an airship historian.
