Professor Jurgen Tampke
Tampke was born in 1944 in Brandenburg and migrated to Australia in 1964. He obtained a First at MacQuarrie University and then a Ph.D. from the Australian National University in 1975. He occupied the position of Associate Professor at the School of History in the University of South Wales before his retirement. He was a prolific writer and author.
