Laurie Milner
Milner was born in London in 1946, and joined the staff of the Imperial War Museum in 1967, retiring as a Senior Historian in 2006. He had been involved in creating military museums in Amman, Jordan; Peronne; and Berlin. He served in various roles in the British Commission for Military History (mainly Secretary General); the International Advisory Board of the Allied Museum in Berlin (Vice Chairman) and the Guards Museum in London (Board Member).
