Kathy Atherton

Atherton gained an MPhil in 17th Century Studies, then wrote much of "H" as an Assistant Editor at the OED. She then spent 10 years as a city lawyer. After that she became responsible for exhibitions at Dorking Museum. She published a number of books on local history, and ran regular guided tours of the Western Front battlefields.
