T.A.M. Nash
Nash was the son of Captain T.A.H. Nash, whose Great War diary he edited (see "The Diary of an Unprofessional Soldier"). He was a subaltern commanding three independent Royal Signals units on the North-West Frontier, Palestine, Italy, and the U.K., in World War 2. After the war he emigrated to Southern Rhodesia, later returning to the U.K. He travelled extensively and tried his hand at a number of jobs, ending up in education.
