Harvey Broadbent

Broadbent was a leading authority on Turkey and its history. He authored a number of books about the First World War, notably the Gallipoli Campaign. He had a long career at ABC, producing four documentaries about Gallipoli. From 2005 he was Senior Research Fellow and Associate Professor at Macquarie University where he directed the Gallipoli Centenary Research Project, a joint partnership between the University, the Australian War Memorial, and the Australian Research Council.
