Peter Burness

Burness was a Senior Historian and the Lambert Gallipoli Fellow at the Australian War Memorial. He was a specialist in the battles of the First Word War, had written extensively on the subject, and had also worked on numerous permanent, temporary, and travelling exhibitions. He retired from the AWM in 2016 and had been made a Fellow of the AWM in 2015.
