Michael K. Cecil

Cecil was born in Melbourne in 1955. He graduated from Monash University and then held various positions in both the public and private sectors. He was the Head of Military Heraldry and Technology at the Australian War Memorial until retiring in 2010. He was a prolific author on military history, specialising in transport and especially armoured vehicles.
