David A. Finlayson

Finlayson was born in Melbourne in 1964. He served in the Army Reserve with the 4th/19th Prince of Wales Light Horse Regiment in the early 1980s. Then he joined the Department of Defence and subsequently the Victorian Education Department. He became a History teacher at a secondary college. He was an established author on military history.
