Mark C. Wilkins
Wilkins was a historian, writer, lecturer and museum professional. He had been Director and Curator of both the Cape Cod Maritime Museum and the Attwood House Museum (Chatham Historical Society) and had worked for the Smithsonian Institution and Mystic Seaport.
At the time he wrote his book on the pyschological effects of combat (see our category Medical/Shell Shock etc.) he was Curator for Maritime History at Calvert Marine Museum.
