Ryan Gingeras
Gingeras was born in New York. He received his doctorate in History from the University of Toronto in 2006. He was an established author on the history of the Ottoman Empire and Turkey.
He was, at the time of writing his book "Fall of the Sultanate" (q.v.) an Associate Professor in the Department of National Security Affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School in Montereu, Ca.
