Ashley Ekins

Ekins was Head of the Military History Section at the Australian War Memorial. He was a graduate of the University of Adelaide and his specialities were the First World War and the Vietnam War. He is a noted military historian and has published widely on the role of Australian soldiers during the First World War, as well as acting as a guide on Gallipoli Battlefields tours; in fact he has visited the battlefields of Gallipoli many times and is an expert on their topography.
