Ann Boyer

Boyer was the great-niece of Henry Gray (see "Henry Gray Surgeon of the Great War" in the Medical Category). She had a Ph.D. in French from the University of East Anglia. She worked in Washington D.C. for 25 years until 2011 in the field of special education, both as a consultant and a business owner. She latterly divided her time between Paris and Norfolk. She received a first-hand account of the events surrounding her great-uncle's career from her grandmother, Eva Esther Gray Ivens, Henry Gray's sister.
