John Broom

Broom graduated in History from the University of Sheffield in 1991 and pursued a career in teaching, first in History and latterly as a Support Teacher in Autism. Letters inherited from his father sparked an interest in the links between 20th Century warfare and religion. He then completed an M.A. in Local and Regional History at the Open University, and at the time of writing his book "Fight the Good Fight" (q.v.) he was studying for a Ph.D. at the University of Durham. He was awarded his doctorate, and continued to write further books.
