Lord Johnnie Astor

Astor, or Lord Astor of Hever, went to Eton, and then became an officer in The Life Guards, serving in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Northern Ireland. He was a grandson of Haig. He was appointed a Privy Councillor in 2015, and was the Prime Minister's's Trade Envoy to Oman. He was a Defence Minister between 2010 and 2015, being in charge of the Government's First World War Centenary Commemorations. He was also Vice-President of St. George's Church in Ypres.
