Michael Epkenhans Ph.D.

Epkenhans was Director of the Otto Bismarck Foundation in Hamburg. He was the author of a number of works on the Imperial German Navy. At the time of his short monograph on Tirpitz (q.v.) he was working on a detailed biography.
