Dr Richard P. Hallion

Hallion was Historian of the Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base, California. He was former Curator of the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum. He formerly taught at the Department of History and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Maryland. He was active in various professional societies, and was a prolific author of books examining various facets of aviation history.
