Professor Erin Penner
Penner was Associate Professor of English at Asbury University, Wilmore, Kentucky.
She specialised in British and American modernism, though other areas of interest included African-American literature, literature of mourning, and literature of the American South.
She joined the English Department at Asbury after a research fellowship at the Rothermere Institute at the University of Oxford.
