Major-General Sir W.G. Macpherson KCMG, CB, LL,D

Macpherson was Colonel-Commandant of the Royal Army Medical Corps. He served in India and Gibraltar, then after the South African War he served there, (in South Africa); then in North China, Malta and India again. He served throughout the war with Field rank on the Western Front and Salonika.
