Barnes Carr
Carr was for many years a journalist for major newspapers in the U.S.A. He was awarded a William Faulkner Gold medal for his short story about his experiences in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina.
His first book, Operation Whisper, was about the capture of the Soviet spies Morris and Lorna Cohen.
