Professor Jonathan Schneer

Schneer obtained his doctorate from Columbia University, and had taught at Yale and the Georgia Institute of Technology. He was the recipient of numerous academic fellowships and awards, and had written (by 2021) seven previous books. One of these, "The Balfour Declaration: The Origins of Arab-Israeli Conflict" won a national Jewish Book Award in the USA. He was an Emeritus Professor and divided his time between Atlanta, and Williamstown.
