Professor Murat Metinsoy
Metinsoy was a Professor of History and Political Science in the Faculty of Economics, at Istanbul University.
His research interests included the history and politics of modern Turkey, and popular politics under authoritarian regimes. He was an established author with a number of notable book prizes/awards to his name.
