John Keegan

Keegan was the 1998 Reith Lecturer and Defence Correspondent of the Daily Telegraph. He was for many years the Senior Lecturer in Military History at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst; and he had been a Fellow of Princeton University and the Delmas Distinguished Professor of History at Vassar. He was also a noted author on military matters.
