Stephen Barber
Barber was a former soldier, who had joined the Prince of Wales Own Regiment of Yorkshire in 1979 as a 16 year old Boy Soldier.
He spent 6 years in the regiment, serving in Norway, Canada, West Berlin, and Northern Ireland; he then joined the Metropolitan Police, later transferring to the West Yorkshire force. He is now retired.
