Paul Macro

Macro was a serving officer with the Royal Tank Regiment, which counts the Machine Gun Corps amongst its antecedents. Both his grandfathers fought in the Great War, He had deployed on operations in Northern Ireland, Cyprus, Kosovo, Kuwait/Iraq, and Afghanistan. He latterly held a number of staff appointments. Following a degree in Geology from Bristol University, he obtained a M.Sc. in Defence Technology from Cranfield University, and an M.A. in Defence Studies from KIng's College, London.
