Patsy Adam-Smith

Adam-Smith was an Australian author who was born in 1924 and died in 2001. She was an author, historian, and servicewoman. Her interests covered a wide range, but one of her most famous books was "The Anzacs". However, her main interest was in railways as she was adopted by two railway workers. She received a significant number of awards and prizes, including an OBE. Her legacy was as an expert in Australian history, culture and identity.
