Tim Carew

Carew was educated at Marlborough. After leaving school, he served with Exeter City Police, the Royal Horse Guards, the Parachute Regiment , and then reached officer rank with the Gurkhas and the Devonshires. He was wounded at Imphal. After the war, he pursued a writing career.
