Helmut Jager

Jager was a retired German Air Force Lieutenant-Colonel. He served in the Cold War as a fighter-bomber and reconnaissance pilot, squadron commander and wing operations officer. He then went on to serve in the Military Attache Service. He studied Great War aviation and wrote two books on the subject in German.
