This is a First Edition, with the required certificate regarding the quality of the paper (note the publication date). The book still has its dust covers, in very good condition. The book itself has no description of the war itself but it is a valuable asset concerning life in war-time Britain. It is also valuable from the point of view of Sassoon's "non-military" life.
