The History of the Eighth Battalion The Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment 1914 - 1919

This book was printed privately for the Battalion by Hazell Watson & Viney Ltd, London and Aylesbury. There is no author as such but the Introduction is signed by "HJW" and "HSB". HJW is likely to have been Lieutenant-Colonel H.J. Wenyon DSO and Bar. HSB could have been Major H.S. Brown MC. Wenyon commanded the Battalion between December 1917 and June 1919. Brown's role in the Battalion is not known, but he may have been the Adjutant.
