Fatal Fortnight: Arthur Ponsonby and the Fight for British Neutrality in 1914

This is a day to day account of the deliberations of Parliament concerning the looming war. The book is well written and researched and must be a valuable contribution to the subject, dealing as it does with a relatively little known aspect of the run-up to war. There is a Foreword by Frederick Ponsonby, 4th Baron Ponsonby of Shulbrede (Ponsonby's great grandson).
